Week 37

We are settled in our new mission area and will send you some pictures from there.
But first, here are some boys enjoying a dip in the ditch before Malou's wedding.

One last bread demonstration before we left Mangaldan.  This was the Relief Society President, and she wanted her picture taken with me.  Sweet!

Missionaries in Baguio with our new Mission President.
President and Sister Balledos--sweet Filipino couple with big hearts and spirits.
President Balledos with his family--three daughters, two sons, and a son-in-law.
We have been assigned to a place 3 1/2 hours north of us.  These are scenes along the way.

                                                              The chapel at Bangued.
Swimming pool in our hotel in Bangued.  Cool!

Catholic Church in Santa Maria on the way to Bangued.
Beach near us.  We took a stroll one afternoon and these are some pictures.

Cute little girl.  All her front teeth were rotted out!

This is the girl who said she was a little drunk, and her friends.
                                                                             Our front door.

Look closely behind the water tank.  There is a huge gecko who lives there.  This was the first time we actually saw him.  Before we just heard him call his name.

This is our house with its beautiful narra furniture.  It is very heavy and dense, and in the States it's called rosewood.

This is Jeanette's friend from Thailand.  She is now one of our missionaries who live near us.
The four sisters who live near us after our dinner appointment on Sunday.  We love missionaries!!!!

Thanks for looking at our blog.  We hope you are well and happy.  We love all of you.  Have a great week!
